Earlier this year, LEGO fans went wild when the toymaker released an incredible Back to the Future DeLorean set. Now, there’s a new set exciting fans.

Building the time-travelling car which helped transport Michael J. Fox’s character Marty McFly to the past and future was epic, but Lego’s new Loop Coaster 10303 set might just top it.

The amazing build is part of Lego’s new Fairground Collection and you certainly won’t want to miss out on this one, but it comes with a hefty price tag…

LEGO took to Twitter on Tuesday (June 7th) to announce its brand new Fairground Collection set the Loop Coaster 10303.

“The spectacular new Loop Coaster joins the LEGO Fairground Collection,” they wrote alongside a promotional video which shows the incredible set in action.

Made of primarily yellow and blue bricks, the coaster has a vertical drop and two loops – and it actually moves! Yes, you heard that right, the set has one roller coaster train that goes around the track by gravity.

Aged at 18+ and described on the LEGO website as “a building project for adults,” the Loop Coaster 10303 set is made up of 3,756 Lego elements, is 92cm tall and has an elevator that brings the car to the top of the track.

Plus, you can add motorised components TO the elevator too that makes the lift work on its own, but that does cost extra.

Unsurprisingly, the Roller Coaster set doesn’t come cheap, retailing at £344.99 in the UK. Plus, you’ll have to buy the motorised parts separately if you want the elevator to move on its own.

The Loop Coaster 10303 set launches on July 1st in Lego stores and on the official Lego website worldwide. The RRP’s are: 399.99 EUR, 599.99 AUD, 344.99 GBP, 399.99 USD and 499.99 CAD.

As well as over 3,000 Lego pieces, the set comes with 11 mini figures including a ride operator, balloon seller, pretzel seller, hot dog seller, grandma, young boy and five roller coaster riders.

Plus, there’s a boarding station with opening barriers and a control panel and lots of accessories including a park bench, balloon cart, pretzel cart, hot-dog stand and height marker.

“When we were designing this set, we wanted to recreate the feeling experienced when it just begins to tip over the highest point,” LEGO Designer Pierre Normandin said.

“Perfect for play or display, we are excited to add this set into the LEGO Fairground Collection,” he continued.

On social media, LEGO fans are going crazy over the new set.
